Gaining St ealing?

Ok so i have a pack horse stationary in my house with about to afk characters in the room, on the packhorse i have gold and gems, i am macroeing steal on this pack horse but i do not seem to be gaining anything.

Any sugestions?

Try stealing an item that weighs 10 stones but no heavier. I think your pet has to guard the items in order for you to gain too.

I think the best way is something like 1 stone per 10 skill. At 50 stealing, steal a pouch with 5 empty bottles (5 stones), at 80 steal 8 stones, etc.

Stealing produces significantly better gains when several people see the stealing attempt. Thus, it is better to do your stealing in town rather than at your house. Also, stealing the same item over and over again produces significantly lower gains, so stealing a variety of items (i.e. multiple dye tubs), will help you gain better as well.

Yes, steal in town until you GM. It won't take you a year. Make sure you put lots of gold on the horse and go somewhere far from NPCs or guards when you AFK too.

P.S. Don't do any of what Kavian is saying. Steal in the security of a home. It took me about 10 hours total macroing time, most likely less that way.

Why not do what Kaivan says? He is completely correct, you will gain faster in town.
