archery question
does an archer need Tactics? i am asking cause magic weapons(melee) give tactics bonus and magic bows give archery bonus
Re: archery question
Yes, tacts still modify damage.
The Archery bonus gives you an advantage over other melee in that it gives you an edge in getting your shot off.

Re: archery question
Anatomy provides an additional 20% towards your base damage, also allows you to res (if you have healing) and is crucial to curing poison with bandaids.MamoNT wrote:hm, so tactics gives more damage. and what anatomy does?

Re: archery question
Mamo, here is some help understanding how important tactics is to a weapon skill.
http://wiki.uosecondage.com/index.php?title=Tactics
it is basically essential.
100 Tacts will provide 150% bonus to your damage while 100 Anat will provide a bonus of 20%.
On any warrior or weapon yielding mage tactics is a must. Anat is great if you have room for it in your temp and if you have healing it only makes sense bc of the ability to the res/cure and getting a damage bonus.

Re: archery question
thx for the info, hoots!
Re: archery question
And don't forget, having a zero in tactics will give you a damage penalty to weapons. I don't remember the scale off hand but I think it was 50% damage at 0.Hoots wrote:Mamo, here is some help understanding how important tactics is to a weapon skill.

Re: archery question
It starts at 50% damage penalty at ZERO Tactics.
And from that on, it is pretty straight forward. Each 1.0 of tactics, will give you 1% more Damage:
So,
ZERO = 50% Dam. (50% penalty)
50.0 Tactics = 100% Dam. (Normal Damage)
100.0 Tactics = 150% Dam. (50% Bonus)
