Teleport Hiding?

I've read a couple of post on this put still don't quite seem what this means. You teleport allowing you enough distance(more than 7 tiles away from attacker) to hide instantly?

Basically if you teleport anywhere, even to another location still within LOS of a combatant, you should be able to hide. But its not working here

And so when you say should, does this mean that it's era accurate, but has been disabled or what?

Tele hiding was definitely possible in T2A, but there seems to be some different rules for LOS here. I vaguely recall that with GM hiding you could hide after 8 tiles but here you actually have to break LOS.

Actually it does work here just the timing isn't quite perfect.
