Re: Random question....
Spellweaving was introduced in Mondain's Legacy.
Lol.. first they tried necromancers and paladins, then ninjas and samurai, now I guess its elves
So glad I never bought a UO after Renaissance

Re: Random question....
So, is it not usable?
Re: Random question....
not usable no.
and the fact is AOS was UO in its most primal state with over 200,000 subscribers during the AOS time period, before AOS was much less and when samurai shit came out it dropped dramatically.
paladins and necromancers was a great addition , UO Aos was one of my favorite games.

Re: Random question....
I disliked how the game felt like a brighter diablo 2 all of a sudden. And not even because of the new skills names. I HATE seeing a number of of how much damage I cause pop up everytime I hit my enemy. I know this particular example isn't Diablo-ish; but I think half the fun is not knowing how much life your enemies have. However very similar to diablo 2 It introduced elemental resistance. Items had 20 new stats all of a sudden. Luck = Magic Finding. You could build a suit that made you use no reagents to cast. And every weapon had unique special moves now (hurray dismount.....). custom housing was a good addition though. It let you know which of your neighbors were color blind, and who could spell "ASS". Isn't this when the ants came with those bags of sending too? More lazy player items in my opinion.TwoTon wrote:not usable no.

You aren't alone though with your likings, when I reactivated my Oceania account to see AoS a lot of people loved the new classes.. i mean skills. I think it should have stopped there though.
Re: Random question....

Re: Random question....
AoS ruined UO and everything after AoS is not even UO.

Although it did ruin the game I think it also brought some nice enhancements to the game as well. The new crafting system I liked, but i think the Insurance killed the point of PvP in the game.
Uo would of been a much better game if tram was never implemented, and the other expansions facets were based off the felucca rule set.
This is my opinion though.

They wouldn't be running around.......they would be town huggin

And the people that are running around with there Fancy gear will have earned it cause they managed to stay alive long enough.
