Are secure containers inside your home totally safe from thieves?

Good point. They are only secure against outside thieves.
If you do not co-own or friend any other player to your house, then a secure is 100% thief proof.

Ok great, also can anyone chop and break things in your house or only owner or co-owner,friend ect..

I belive only the owner can chop locked down furniture/chests and add-ons. Possibly co-owns, not positive, definitely not friends.
