Scrolls

Post by Magua_Montana »

Yesterday I searched approx 2h to find scrolls like greater heal, lightning or earthquake but didn't find them. It is a joke how hard it is to complete the spellbook. Why the mage npc's did not sell > circle 3 scrolls?

Where can I find the above scrolls?

Three ways to do it.

Easiest is to find a nice scribe willing to help you out if your starting. They might ask for some gold or maybe if your lucky just regs/free

Second option is going to Moonglow/Brit Reg shops and checking the NPCs as people do sell scrolls a lot (I'm one of them need the extra $)

Third option is to go hunt low lvl magic mobs. Imps in T2A and Orc Mages don't hit too hard and you can kill and grab 2 scrolls per kill usually. They won't be high lvl scrolls but should get you into lvl 5 spells.

I like making my own spellbooks from scratch by finding scrolls, so my solution is to find a Silver weapon and go bash Liches until I fill it up. They each drop 2 scrolls from level 3 through 7 I believe. Then whenever I begin a new character, I have him swap books with my lich-basher, giving my lich-basher an empty book... and then I go bash liches for a few hours again to fill it up.

Thats what i did to start.

My other method was to simply go kill 50 earth elementals and buy a full book from a player vendor...

Both are pretty easy and dont take very long.

Ive just made my patio public as a public service:

I throw my spare SCROLLS in one of the chests. The other is locked but pickable, for the newer lockpicker, I'll throw some different items in there.(nothing really valuable, prolly on par with town chests) The vendor has some Newbie friendly items on it, such as, Bandages in stacks of 100, individual potions, and bone armor pieces. On the patio is a runebook loaded with recall scrolls for FREE RECALLS.(Good for the newer player who doesnt want to buy a boat to go to occlo & I'll get a dungeon entrance book up there when im less lazy)

Located Right in between Minoc and Vesper.
