How long do pets stay in your house before they decay?

decay or lose loyalty?

Not sure on the decay, but they will go wild in 6-12 hours from what i have found from gating some poor mares who lost their owner...

Good question; I've had other people leave ostards in my house which are still there after the server restart, and gone by the next server restart.

Untamed animals will decay in a house if not targeted within 20 hours.
