Yo, this is a great shard. I love hearing the old school music!

Havin fun. Just a couple questions.

1: Is the skillgain here sped up at all? Its reminding me of EA:UO. It seems really slow. I dont mind really one way or the other, im just wondering.

2: Am I correct in saying that the lower your skillcap is, the faster you gain skills?
For example. If Im training up a tankmage, should I train mage/med/resist first, or does it matter?

PS: Can you swear ingame?

1. Skill gains are slow here, they are meant to emulate the timeframe...most agree they are quicker than what they were "back in the day" but no where near equivalent to most other free shards.
2. Skill cap doesn't effect rate of gain, as that is not era accurate.
3. You can swear in game, just have to watch the racial slurs and the overaly foul mouth. If you really want to get your "swear on" try the trash talk forums

There are no special weapon maneuvers here.

I didnt do anything special.
My HD crashed to I had to reinstall from scratch.

I downloaded the game from this link

Did the whole setup and "Full install" thing.

Then tried to run the game without patching. I got some major fuzzy screen and razor wouldnt work. So I patched to 5.0.1j and started to play.

BLAMO On the login screen stones2 played and all through the game the oldschool music was playing.
