Should Asinine Reasons For Getting Peope Banned Be Tolerated

I think that players who try to report others for reasons like "luring monsters" or using foul language should have their accounts jailed as a warning and then eventually banned if they keep this behavior up.

Trying to get another player banned is a form of grief that is on par with grade school chicanery where there was that one kid who would always tattle on people for any ludicrous reason. If anything, this form of griefing shouldn't be tolerated because it is the worst kind: Using your Right to report players who are violating the Shard's policies to get somebody you do not like banned.

People who try to get others banned for using foul language are clearly ignoring their ability to use the Language Filter and the Ignore function readily available in the game. I understand that you do not like it when other people use foul language. Personally, I don't feel too offended when somebody insults me but to each his own. However, you're much worse than the PK who is ganking you at 2 HP if you think that Red should be banned from the Shard for doing this because it might "scare off" potential future players. This is the same reasoning that OSI made such drastic changes to the game's mechanics, which inherently caused the creation of this shard to begin with.

Granted there is a very small player base here but what else is there to be expected?

Abuse of the help page system is grounds for not being able to use the page system, however many players do come to UOSA from more softer friendly gaming enviornments and I find it hard to fault people for not understanding the nature of the game.

We do not interfere in normal game mechaincs, but are happy to explain our position to players not familair with our general policy of non interference.

Without tolerance for other points of view we wouldn't have much to talk about; however tolerance doesn't mean we're going to take action and change policy. UO is what it is.

We're certainly not going to jail players for reporting abuse if they think their case is valid, this suggestion is almost a violation of the suggestion itself
