Most soldiers and killers do not regard their targets as having human characteristics, nor do they wish for them to appear to have these aspects themselves as a purely psychological vice. We fear that which we do not know or understand.

I usually tried to give other folks a rez, or a gate out if I didn't want them hanging around, but almost never took one myself.

I didn't want handouts or to feel obliged in any way to my enemy. If you can't get yourself out of titan valley (or wherever) just don't go there. If you have things you don't want to lose, don't carry them.
