I don't understand the thinking of people who continue to trade,deal etc with people who are known to scam. Its hard to feel sorry for you when you keep going back for more. It is not like you didnt know who you were dealing with. Do you think "well they have screwed over all these people but hes not gonna do it to me." The guy even admits it in the logs. He says i dont know why people always think im going to scam them because im a thief. Probably because hes done it time after time.

I think in the realm of UO being a thief is different than a scammer. It seems like the majority of people saying Matron is scammer don't read the boards. If they would read the boards its pretty obvious that Matron is a chick....

I deal with Matron on a almost bi-weekly basis, and personally have never had any issues, and have dealt with chumbucket on a numerous of occasions as well and again have never had an issue, That being said I wouldn't be so careless as to meet them say in the middle of nowhere, or trade items without checking them first, or to not post the trade on the forums/IRC main channel prior to going threw with the trade, this is true for almost 99% of the players I deal with, there is nothing to stop Anon player X from being mr buddyniceguy for months and then ripping you off when there 500k on the line.

Any player who practices the bardic arts should be treated with the up most caution when trading in general,
