We can't even get someone to create a decent one. You are wanting to add features already lol.

This would be very era accurate! The amount of people using the trade forum as a secure trammel-esque means to trade without risk (because scammers will be banned) makes me sick! Now to abolish those pesky IRC rules!

http://www.phpbb-auction.com/

phpbb-Auction is a free auction-system which can be used as an add-on for the phpBB-community-software. phpbb-Auction has been programmed style and lanaguage independet to run on every phpbb-Board and with any language.

why not just implement it here.

No doubt part of GK's plan to start charging fees for everything. First, brokering. Now, "secure" trades.

Let's skip this whole forum/marketplace idea and just create a no-steal zone in trammel for trading purposes only!

Also, you get a free neon shroud for trading in this secure land of happiness and rainbows.

Jesus it's annoying how many people here just talk shit and complain but don't actually have constructive criticism. This guy is trying to get a nice trading forum going and all you can do is criticize.

This shard is free you idiots. All you all do is play and criticize on fourms while someone at least is trying to make a community change. Grow up and have some respect for the community.

Looks like someone wants a neon shroud really really bad!

Stop trolling. Do you realize he is talking about the forum and not a new ingame area?

Simply, I think Derrick wants out from under the whole thing and any/all responsibility of it.

The trade forum IS going to be shut down and I'm not asking for some super special Auction style site so much as i'm wanting something official that can be used as a alternate.

You can smack talk it all day long, but this is happening.

This is clearly one of GK's alternate forum accounts he uses to show that the "community" supports his attempts to start charging people 2k per "secure" trade (or 1% of the total price, whichever is higher). In politics, they call this "astroturfing."

There are those of us who will resist your tyranny, GuardianKnight!

I'd just leave the existing forum unmoderated.

I always say that Ebay is one of the best uses of the internet. Well, the Trade Forum is our Ebay. A great way to connect random people who could mutually benefit from a transaction.

If the trade forum is abolished, or moved offsite, you're just going to have people spamming WBB and people making constant posts here about how they got scammed on UOSATradespot.com and can any staff plz help!!1!!1! And IRC is a pretty inefficient means of communication for something like this; posts/email is much better.

I hate to say it, but my suggestion to the staff would just be to suck it up and either (a) get more assertive about banning the people who are consistently being a PITA, or (b) just leave it unmoderated and don't let the imbeciles take up any of your time.
