Indeed. We didn't nail it the first time we put it on, and it was immediately pulled off. It's going to be tricky, but I have a good handle on what i missed the first time around, specificly that items on steps need to be visible always.
Why not include the proper item decay fix for houses? This includes castle courtyards, keep holes and other not so known spots...

It would be nice to fix this as well.

If we start talking about item decay in houses, we should probably re-adress Phase III housing (paritcularly the extra secure containers). IMO one is responsible for making the other.

Getting back to what this thread is about(Not Housing patches)has the PvPer community began the reckoning as promised? Hehe, I don't side with either the PvP community or the PvM community, but I'm enthused about any part of the community banding together to accomplish a goal.

Maybe the cleansing could extend to AFK townkills too. I'm sure most of you PvPers have the resources to make a buncha newbie characters with Dped weps to roll through the banks and do Nightly clean-ups.

Sounds mean...but maybe such harsh tactics will cause people to band together creating more player interaction, instead of alot of people running around playing this game like it's single player.

Please announce when this commences. I know this event is trying to get a point across, but maybe adding a little dramatic flair and running it like an event could make it fun too. Just my my opinion.

I seen a red Fwerp recall in after me the other day at the orc and undead fortress...I was right next to you droogie...Hidden.
I am telling you a stealth mage is the bomb. The only time I died from PK's was when I was in irc chat to find myself tracked reveled and surrounded once. Being on foot with only 25 stamina that is quite an accomplishment. I made over 150K hunting the other day easy. I had about three run ins with red. It was all cakewalk.

1. Fwerp hasn't been red in quite sometime. I think it's been nearly a month.
2. I don't think it would be fair to institute perma red, unless it begins counting the times you have gone murderer with the patch. I did my research when I started here, and found out that there was no perma-red, and virtually no intention of instituting it. I played accordingly. I think this would be highly unfair to institute ex post facto, though I'd have no qualms about putting it into effect.

the only way to implement perma-red would be to start clean, unless you were already red, that would count as once.

If perma red was added there would be no other choice but start from that point on since the counter would be a new variable and there is no way to track this in the past.

There is no reason not to implement perma red since it's well beyond accurate being implemented way before our cut off date. People should not be blue pking if they don't want to receive this status.
