PVPERS? ON STRIKE?
Well, I remember someone proposed a pvmer strike a while back, so this proposal is in that vein.
I have never really PK'd on this server, and frankly I don't derive much satisfaction from it. However, I am proposing that since there is virtually no pvp to be had on the server, and since most of the good players have stopped playing, the remaining pvpers should work in unison to PK all farmers everywhere, methodically. We will stop the carnage and begin pvping each other when our demands are fullfilled.
Our list of demands can be ironed out in this thread, but the goal is to have the pvmers calling for their delivery just as ardently as the pvpers.
Many of you will be surprised that I of all people am proposing this, but I feel that drastic measures are needed to save the shard for pvpers.
My proposed list of demands is:
--The reduction of average mini heal damage -- We simply do not know (notwithstanding the Demo code, which isn't even being currently being used) what mini heal healed in era. The code in place on live UOSA does not "feel" right, and it very negatively impacts pvpers. A slight reduction in the average damage would have virtually no effect on pvmers. Since we do not really know what mini heal should heal on average, and since the issue does not materially affect pvmers, pvpers should have their marked preference for it's reduction considered.
--The return of trophies to CTF/DD

So, can we put our guild differences aside for the moment and honor the old code of honor amongst reds? Yes, it's selfish, but things have really gotten horrible for pvpers.
Let me know your thoughts about goals, execution, etc.

-- Reasonable mount stamina. You could at least make it from the Deceit Entrance to the Lich Lords without having to refresh your horse. That's a low bench mark, but that's not even possible at the moment.

I really dont think such action should be nessesarry or even productive mini heals didnt start doing 15 well into the uor era when osi had finally realized how bad it had gotten to be any mage let alone one with a wepon skill.
Having said that there is a key word........ SHOULD if it is you can count me in.
As for the trophys its obvious that not everyone knows about suply and demand people started crying about folks farming ctf and dd for trophy points so what did we do elliminate the one point trophys and the price skyrocketed and has no indication of slowing down. So now people wait for the dungeon crawls get a 75k trophy and can make their mage in peace from the comfort of their small house they bought to hold all their regs.
The moral of all this is les have fun and ban together look for some evidence of a smaller mini heal altho I feel ghs maxed out at 35-40 healed dmg and minis were around 11 or 12 .

Moreover, the pvp on the shard steadily decreased since the removal of trophies.

If interested to know if this is actually still an issue since we've introduced the correction to fatigue on damage. In either case though, there is no evidence that mini-heal did less that 10pts of heal for a GM mage in any era of UO, this is not likely to change. Here is an interesting timeline involving the heal "in mani" spell stating specific values over the lifetime of the game.
