Love the shard.. few questions.

So far so good, I have trained a good warrior, and my mage is on his way too.

If anyone could spend some time answering a few questions, I'd apprciate it.

1. Runebooks - I remember not all runebooks were blessed, well I bought one, died and lost it. Are there still blessed runebooks, if so who sells them?

2. Vendors - Sorry $$$(UOSA?) but I checked out your vendors and I loved the runebooks, but the vendors were all out of stock and no selection. Any other vendors people actually maintain and stock?

3. Hunting/Monsters - I have trained a good warrior up, and I have been all over including T2A, I just cant seem to find a good spawn location for mid-level monsters. Air Elms, Ophibidian Warriors, great quick cash but cant seem to find a good spawn, any ideas?

First of Welcome!

1. Runebooks can not be stolen (To my knowledge) but they can be looted if your killed

2. $$$ is a good vendor, but stock has been a bit low. Another good choice Is Yew Bank Mall (NE corner of Yew Bank right outside)

3. Desert area, I believe they have a Temple there but havent been myself

There are NO runebooks that are blessed, not on this shard at least


Yew Gate is always good, what were you looking for from our vendors? we are useually pretty good with stock, but stuff sells quick when its a popular sales spot you might have to check in in the next day


Compassion desert is pretty good, earth ele's give decent gold, and often drop lvl 1 treasure maps, the spawn is really quick as well

unfortunately any of the popular PvM spots are camped by Reds 80% of the time

1. No blessed runebooks. They became blessed at the very end of this shard target era.
2. Vendor stock goes up and down as players gain and lose interest. IMHO the best area to shop is near the yew gate. Many vendors owned by many different people and guilds. Things like runebooks and potion kegs are always stocked and often cheaper from nearby competition.
3. For a warrior Earth eles in shame have been a favorite of mine since '99. Easy to kill withou magic and they are slow so you can get away to wait for a bandage. Just be on the look out for reds. Harpies is another decent cash spot. Level 1/2 wrong should have a bunch of ogres/ettins/orcs/etc. Just look out for reds at all times.

Runebooks CAN be stolen, just not by a direct steal. If you have one in town, it's best to keep it in your hands.

If you take the road leading outside of brit by west brit bank and follow it to a small house, theres a vendor there thats stocked atleast once/twice a day.

If you go outside of delucia, theres a boat with runes on it, you can find Ophid warriors & the rune marked "Ophidian Fort", but you'll also find a ton of more-deadly Ophids there "Avengers & Errants" that you'll probably want to avoid

Always be careful with your runebook. They can be stolen from your pack. Just not your hands when you hold them.

Scraper, if by chance you lost this runebook on an archery send me a pm where you lost it and I'll return it. I grabbed the stuff and waited for someone to return to their body but they never came back.

A good practice with runebooks is to keep them in your bank at ALL times. Only keep one rune on you that leads to your bank of choice. You can recall off your runebook while it's in the bank.

The downside to this is if you die, and your corpse has already been looted, your stuck running to the nearest bank.
