mIRC Instructions

Post by Braden »

There is already a topic related to how to connect to IRC, but this post includes instructions for those who already have mIRC installed and do not want to use the menu system.

Run mIRC,
Click Evaluate or OK until you get to the white chat screen,

Type:
/server irc.wildirc.net

Then, once connected, type:

/join #secondage

Enjoy!

Probably the most immature and most unrelated to the game chat room I've come across yet. I don't use it anymore.

people need to play more UO and stop looking at MIRC.

It's just people flaunting their egos and talking about "UO tabloids" but not actually living UO life.

Although there is a good deal of epeen waving that goes in in #secondage it's also a good place for players (new and old alike) to seek help/advice, find people to group up with, ask about mechanics, or just discuss RL things like news and sports.

If someone bothers you terribly, just use the IGNORE feature - pretty simple really.

Several guilds/groups also have their own channels, which can be useful for coordinating, planning/plotting, or just getting to know your fellow gamer better.
