doing inscription
Telekenisis in the spell book is listed as bloodmoss and mandrake,
when doing inscription, telekenisis shows up only with Ash spiders silk and Garlic.
Ive noticed Explosion is also wrong in the spell book, also listed as Bloodmoss and mandrake. im sure it was 3 regs
Major Spellbook Problem
Re: Major Spellbook Problem
Aye. this is a discrepancy between the T2A era spell reagents, and a change in the modern UO. Because the spellbook pages are part of the client, we are stuck with what the spell book says, and because it would be extremely confusing we allow those to be the casting reagents.
The craft system is 100% T2A and uses the ere resource requirements for inscription.
I can see how this can be confusing. Not sure though if a change should be made. Thoughts?

Re: Major Spellbook Problem
Are there any other spells which differ in their components?
If there is I believe at least a thread on it should go in guides at the very least.
I never really gave it much thought really, all the regs needed for gaining magery was on the money.

Re: Major Spellbook Problem
I dun know if this was corrected as I don't have a scribe, but I think consistency between all skills and use of reagents is needed. It seems very confusing and perhaps "unfair" (dunno which is the most expensive though), that using a spell with magery uses different resources than for inscribing, one way or the other imo.Derrick wrote:I can see how this can be confusing.
