Event Notification System out of game -

Would there be any interest for an out of game notification system?

That is there is an event coming up in the next amount of time a text message would be sent to your msn/cellphone/irc pm and which other toys people have for these things.

Events that arent scheduled on the daily list you would get a page

Tournaments
Town invasions
Seer run events
CTf games
Bagball
Survivals
Monster Bashs
Holiday Events

You could have all send a notification to you.

Could be a couple bucks a month or somthing to cover service/server costs

Forget cell phones, I wouldn't mind just getting an email each week.

It could list recurring events (I know there's a webpage for this... somewhere), and also have a section for player-run events like tower raids, dungeon raids, resist sessions, etc.

They did this on divinity. Someone had a system set up that sent rl text messages to those on his list. He charged like 10k a week for the service.
