Most mornings before i go off to work, i log a toon(s) in just after server up (6:16 -6:20 am Central time) to come home and find my accounts disconnected. I work 8-12 hours a day and i am wondering why my toon(s) get disconnected EVERY day.
Is there a certain timer that disscons idle accounts or am i missing something. I wake up before server goes down in the morning and leave just after server goes back up. When i log in after server up, there are usually less then 20 players on line.
Most nights i have 1-2 toons macroing away all night and when i wake, they are either dead or still macroing away, never disconnected. Am i missing something?
AFK macroing timer or second down time
Re: AFK macroing timer or second down time
Happens to me too sometimes; it seems like it almost always could be explained by my wireless connection fading in and out.
Re: AFK macroing timer or second down time
Sometimes there will be a second down time, but very infrequently, and if so you should see a message in your journal. This has not happened for weeks, the last time was a resart to apply a core patch slightly after the server came back up.

Re: AFK macroing timer or second down time
I personally use TeamViewer to check in on my home computer every now and then to see if the macros are still running.
I need it as Euro player to restart macros remotely after the daily server shutdown.
Give it a try, it's free and really easy to use.

If your macro is spamming guards every sec, its likely a GM disconnected you as well.
