Pure mage template

Hi, i've been thinking of a template for pure mage that looks like that:

Magery: 100
Eval Int: 100
Wrestling: 100
Meditation: 100
MResistance: 100

Now the last 200 skill points are optional. What i've been thinking is the following:
Healing: 100
Hiding: 80
Free: 20

A problem occured because of the low dexterity (25) the hiding at 80 skill isn't good enough (fails too often for someone wearing only clothes with 5 AR) so probably the 20 free point wold have to go for hiding too. Would it be useful to take anatomy instead of hiding - i don't think the +20 healing at gm worths it.

if you are playing defensive raise anatomy to 100 to GM healing then drop anatomy for macing. That way you can bandage or use wands to either greater heal or cast lightning when mana is low without chance of interruption and without being mangled in melee.

You can always cast invisible...

If you want tactics and a weapon try casting two harms or e-bolt then arming the weapon each time. Unless someone tagged you out with attack last most spells casting times are near long enough to arm a weapon after and attack instantly.
Thus the insta-hit.

True, i kind a like the idea with the wand and the mace fighting. Just don't understand why should i gain skill in anatomy till i GM healing and then drop it. Can't i just gain in healing only??

Well you can technically but raising healing by ressing a ghost after 80 will be the quickest way to GM. To do that you need at least 80 anatomy, GM will bring you closer to your sweet spot.

You pretty much need anatomy to gm healing.

The benefit of anatomy with healing is actually pretty great. Check out this template of mine for a mage thats practically impossible to kill without 3+ people. In your case, you could substitute Parry for Eval.

i' seems like a summoner/healer in PVM...or made to capture the flag, how did you get 4 kills?

I made her for CTF, but I started using her to heal friends and such on the "field" (whatever that is). Most likeley the kills are from me waiting until someone is low (at that mongbat event a long time ago) and then explode-ebing them and taking their trophies.

Beware of immitation i''s. This is the original, which felix (deniably) based his r- name off of. Luna spell has an i' too now I saw.

Wow... what a cool template. Never thought of including parrying. You're a genius! How interesting and creative... a healing mage that's nearly impossible to kill. Great for CTF yes!

Going to have to check out that template when I get home as its blocked at work but for pvm I've found this to be a good mage template as I have it on my OSI account

GM levels:
Magery
Eval Int
Resist
Mediation
Archery
Tactics

I can't remember exactly what the last 100 points goes to but between the archery and magery I can drop 2 deamons at one time fairly easy, just wait for them to expend their mana having GH precasted and then unload. Although its easier in the current OSI with spellcasting bows.

It better be wrestling lol...healing at the very least.

Archery is alot faster then I imagined at 25 dex. If you keep the distance and wait for the hit to pull off combos its pretty heavy damage when you can utilize the bow, magery, and hally hits. I am making a temp now that incorporates all three. I am almost favouring dropping resist a bit for more wrestle and play it dangerously offensive. With reflect up or reflection items I think I could compensate.

There is always a soft spot in the belly of the dragon and that would be mine.

Nice thing is you can get an oppurtunity to do an attack prior and after casting when you stop, and with a precast you could even get 4, 5 if you time a pot right.

In example you precast explosion run for a few and stop,
you shoot(1),
you release the explosion(2)
and either precast ebolt or harm first then precast ebolt to interrupt their heal, then move in
you hally whack(3), quickly moving out of range
then release ebolt(4),

Which equals 4 quick powerful attacks in succession for the first sequence, and all but the hally were at distance.

Keeping the distance if you can helps minimize the threat of interrupt especially being unarmored. That said an archer mage is more a field then tourney template. I changed it up to this..

Tactics GM
Archery 90
Magery GM
Eval 80
Resist 70
Wrestling 70
Meditation 90

Is the calculation about how strong the spell poison will be on? I mean magery + poisoning > 65 = poison; and so on?
