Is this correct (re: corpse decay)

After struggling to make my way back to my PK'ed body twice in the last few days, and both times my body being completely decayed, I looked up on stratics what decay time is. It says that the corpse will turn to bones in 7 minutes, and bones decay in 7 minutes, so you effectively have a 14 minute timer to get back and retrieve your corpse before it goes away forever. Is this time limit the same on this server (just trying to make sure)? I think I am going to start a stopwatch every time I get murdered from now on so I can just say "fuck it" instead of trying to get back to my body over and over again only to find nothing there. I've also noticed there are rarely healers anywhere near covetous. I have had to run all the way to vesper a few times and pretty far all the other times. Do people normally seek out a healer beforehand so you know where one is in case you die or something, because I don't think I could even make it to a healer and back on foot in time to grab my corpse. decay time should be correct. a little while back it was patched to be quicker (like waaaayyy too quick) but there was some confusion on the wording of the decay times so it was changed back to the original time.

The PKs probably chopped up your corpse reducing the time you have to get back and loot your corpse.
