New Client Issues with Armoire

Post by HardCore »

This is the second PC I've installed the client from the home page on. When I open my armoire, all the items are stacked at the bottom and cannot be moved up at all.

It worked normally when I was patched all the way up. I deleted and reinstalled and it looks/works like the screenshot.

I noticed the same thing when I patched back down.

It's possible that it was changed in later clients I guess, but this is how I always remember it on OSI.

The armoire does not use the default container area, but it certainly is a weird shape.

I'd like to look into fixing this if we can determine that it is indeed wrong.

I remember it being this way as well, however that could be tainted by so many years of playing on emulator shards.

If it were working 'correctly' back in the day, that would have been the best container in the game to have.

If anyone does find further infomation on this or similar topics, please post in suggestions or bug reports, as topics in this forum get beyond me very quickly.

Thanks!

I've always remembered it this way; you couldn't go more than halfway up the armoire, but you could go a little off to both sides of the door. Gonna see if I can find a screen shot of an old house I had on Atl that had a bunch of armoires.

You're my hero Derrick.. no patch too big or too small when Derrick is on the job!

You could've single-handedly taken care of OSI in '99
