House storage

Post by Lazarus »

So I brought a bigger house last night and was moving my stuff in and organizing and everything. Now I have a couple of large wooden chest. In the old house I had a 4 bags of armor in it. Of course I couldnt move it all in one shot so I had to split it up. When I got to the new house the chest couldn't all of the armor. At first it wouldn't let me go past 330 stones, but another chest I have has 353ish, then I switched some bags around and got it up to a weight of 390+ stones but I'm stuck with a bag weighing 50+ stones that can't go in. Is this a change that happened recently? Actually I think in the old house I had the wooden treasure chest looking chest in a small wooden chest, locked down but not secure. This is just the treasure chest, locked down and secure that I'm trying to set up.

Also do the metal chest hold more?

SEcure containers have a weight limit. Locked down containers are limitless.

Best way to move a large amount of items is to lock down a large chest, then pile all your crap into it, then unlock and drag the chest (gate hop.) I've been able to clean out entire houses using two or three chests to move it.

Locked down container: 125 items, unlimited weight
Secured container: 125 items, 400 stone limit

Thanks hicha. I didn't know you could do that, drag the chest through the gate, as I've never done it or seen it done. Its OK though as all my stuff has been moved.

Be careful doing this though and make sure both areas are 100% secure.
