Dead in town but no 'Report Murderer'

I was macroing magery and somebody got me last night. Good for them! They prob got about 300 regs or so.

My question is: Why didn't a Report Murder que pop up when I logged in as has happened before?

hard to get to the bottom of this mystery, but if you're going to macro magery in town, do it at a bank and use a restock agent for future reference.

Dunno if this was you, but I saw two guys macroing healing on an NPC paladin in delucia. They obviously didn't give the paladin enough money because he became unhired and killed them both.

Could you have been flagged grey to your killer for some reason?

What about releasing a dragon/hell hound in town? Could that released pet have killed you and it not counted as a murder for the previous owner?

I know in Delucia people kite orc lords into the town to kill people macroing lore/taming. Depending on what city you were in, maybe they kited in an ettin/orc/undead or similar and that killed you.

I'm sure there are other possibilities, but I'm not a professional griefer
