Im trying to perfect my sheep farm. I realize that too many sheep in tight areas provide very slow wool spawn but what are the numbers? I've searched the forum and have found no details on it.
Matron had a post where he was going to do a study but never posted the results. http://forum.uosecondage.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5598
So far I've learned that 10 sheep(1 per tile) will yield one sheer for every 2-3 hours. But I want more. I went to bed at 3am, with all of my sheep sheered, got on at 10am to sheer again and 60 had respawned in that time. I have killed the other 4 who did not spawn and could see in that time. Is this the best way wait a few hours and kill the ones who haven't regrown their wool until 100% of them do?

I think that the problem with your current sheep setup is the lack of a permit for your livestock.
