Whats wrong with this macro?
About 90% of the time my macro hangs at the highlighted area... usually when waiting for a menu. What I am doing is using a restock and click on myself to get supplies from bank, this works fine but when it gets to using inscription than click on a scroll, that's where it hangs at waiting for a menu. I have noticed this happens on other skills sometimes as well.. normally when waiting for a menu. Any idea?
Re: Whats wrong with this macro?
It's lag. The whole thing goes too fast/slow for the macro. What you can do to fix this (it might fuck it up, but probably not) is to right-click the "Wait for Target" and then choose Edit timeout and set it to 1. That way it won't wait for a target for 300 seconds, instead it'll wait 1 second and start over if the target does not show.

Nice, that's somewhat of a workaround.. looks like it retries around 10 times before it actually works. I'm not sure I believe its because of lag because I have another character macroing with no problem at all with magery and I crafted fine via macro with carpentry. Feels more like a bug or something with the "wait for menu(any)"Populus wrote:It's lag. The whole thing goes too fast/slow for the macro. Thing is when doing actions such as "Dblclick Pen and Ink" it sometimes does it too fast between another action.
So you get the message "You must wait to perform such action" or something. That's what often causes the problem. Add some pauses in your macro and it should work out.

There's no pen and ink on this server. I have also considered putting in extra pauses which do not help. I have also watched the system messages to make sure nothing like that popped up to prevent my macro from going on.Populus wrote:Thing is when doing actions such as "Dblclick Pen and Ink" it sometimes does it too fast between another action.

I have noticed a few other bugs on this server lately as well. Like one of my characters meditation is stuck at 23.4 and will not move up even after hours of macroing it a long with casting spells. (Already double checked that I have skill points to spend) also his INT is stuck at 18 with dex on a down arrow and stat points available. It also took multiple days (several hours of fighting monsters) to get my warriors tactics from 99.9 to 100, which isn't a big deal, just very odd.
UPDATE : Of course after I posted that my meditation went up .2

Hello
I have had problems in the past with Inscription. One of the things I found is that 'Target By Type' doesn't work very well with scrolls. I have found that if I use 'Target Last' instead and manually set 'Last Target' on the scrolls it works fine. You just need to make sure your re-stock macro keeps at least 2 scrolls in your backpack at all times. Just set it to restock 4 each time and you should be ok

Let's say your meditation is at 24 meditation, in order to raise it you must meditate when you have (100 mana - medskill) in other words 86 mana.Grubb wrote:There's no pen and ink on this server. 40 meditation, med at 60 mana.
80 meditation, med at 20 mana.
Also, the 99.9 issue is always like that. I do not have a answer for that unfortunately.

Re: Whats wrong with this macro?
yeah I had to do the same thing. I usually scribe 150-250 scrolls at a time so I just left my macro as absolute target and just retarget it each time or if you just buy more scrolls to add to the pile before it completely runs out you don't have to retarget and it works great.Coloram wrote:Hello
