I recently logged in to see an alert message that stated something to the extent of, "Since you're using a client installation that requires the game disc to be in your CD Drive, this may/won't(?) be supported in the future, possibly after the next big patch. To remedy this, it's suggested that you reinstall your client with the 'Full Installation' option."
The thing is, however, that this is exactly what I did to install my current client. Well, to be more precise, I go to Advanced > Full Install and just skip all the other stuff bundled. I'm using the game disc that came right out of the T2A box from like 10 years ago and I'm patched to 5.0.8.4. I tried for 8.3 but it's nigh on impossible to stop the patch downloader in time. Frequent re installations have yielded the same, "Please insert the game disc" message and I'm under the impression that this isn't going to change any time. I guess I could try the client that you can download from the home page but I'd honestly prefer to avoid that hassle altogether regardless as to whether the issue with the Alt O options not saving is fixed or not considering I'm having no troubles with what I have. "If it isn't broken, don't fix it."
Is anyone else receiving this message? Am I really going to have to try possible numerous re installations to assuage this?
