Poisoning Question
Is there any reason to have it on a character other than a mule. I was thinking about trying to play an assassin type character ( never done that before) I know poisoning doesn't help the magery spell in this era but someone told me if I have poisoning on my dexxer template it increases his chance to strike poison onto my opponent with a dp'ed weapon. Is this true? If it is I am going to put it on my assassin strictly for sorta rp purposes, but if not I am just gonna slap it on the mule and use those 100 points somewhere else.
Re: Poisoning Question
I have poisoning on my dexxer which makes it extremely useful to reapply in the field. Poisoning by itself, however, is pretty gimped here; you can cure Deadly Poison by drinking regular Cure Potions sold from NPC vendors.
Some people prefer to just poison several weapons and swap them out during the duration of the fight; this works well if you're using GM equipment, but if you're pvping with power/vanqs you're risking a lot of cash if you die.

The skill of the poisoner is all that matters.

so there is no reason to have it on an assassin other than convenience?
Re: Poisoning Question
Pretty much. Its a big convenience though, especially if you'll be using high-end weapons as Hicha said.Bruno_Steelhart wrote:so there is no reason to have it on an assassin other than convenience?
