Hi. I see alot of mages have wrestling. Could someone please explain the benefits it gives?

Well, Harold, it goes something like this.
The calculation UO does to decide whether an opponent's weapon hits you, for a mage not holding a weapon (using wrestling) vs someone holding a weapon (say, fencing), is:
% Chance to Hit
FORMULA: Hit Chance= ( Attacker's Weapon Ability + 50 ) ÷ ( [Defender's Weapon Ability + 50] x 2 )

So, 100 wrestling vs 100 fencing would mean that they hit 50% of the time, thereby reducing damage and chance that they interupt your spell.
