Non-aggressive former pets are aggressive to murderers?
Is this accurate? Sheep that used to be pets but are now released, will attack murderers on site.
Re: Non-aggressive former pets are aggressive to murderers?
Absolutely. Also, firebreathers (even if they are tame) should also attack murderers on sight
A conversation during character creation:
Me: Do you think I should use my old character name..?
Him: I think you overestimate how famous you are. I doubt anyone remembers you anymore.

Right, we have that firebreathing thing.Reena Dae wrote:Absolutely. Also, firebreathers (even if they are tame) should also attack murderers on sight
I guess I'm confused about the "criminal" vs "murderer" tags. I.E. I can use Buc's Den bank when I am a murderer, but if I am a criminal and my criminal timer is still on, I cannot use it. Likewise, I thought pre-tamed pets attacked criminals, not murderers.

How come aggressive ex-pets don't attack blue/grey players?
Re: Non-aggressive former pets are aggressive to murderers?
you can be a murderer and a criminal at the same time, or you could be a murderer but not a criminal. criminal and murderer flags are two separate things. not sure if ex tames should be attacking criminals aswell as murderers though.Mikel123 wrote: I guess I'm confused about the "criminal" vs "murderer" tags. Criminal timer is mainly used to determine guard-whacks and the ability to access your bank-box.
[14:17] <UOSAPlayer4056> cr3w guild is a joke. Ran by staff members, multi client pking, this shards a joke and a half.

Got it - yeah, a lot of things cleared up for me about "criminal" when I changed the color of it to orange. So "attackable" is grey for me, "criminal" is orange.
I guess I just meant, it's counterintuitive, that in some cases it's worse to be a criminal than it is to be a murderer, but in other cases it's the opposite.
Matron, that's got to be a bug.

They do, their behavior just buggy. I've absolutely had pretamed frenzieds attack me. I've also had released mongbats and giant toads attack other aggressive animals.MatronDeWinter wrote:How come aggressive ex-pets don't attack blue/grey players?

Pet behaviour is massively buggy atm, period. It would be hard to list all the things wrong with how pets are behaving ;/

IMO, should just revert the pet-code to what it was before (when it worked), toggle that "attack people when released" back to on (it did work once, then was turned off) and work from there.
What's more important, pets and mobiles that are remotely functional yet slightly inaccurate, or the current "accurate" pets/monsters that are bugged beyond belief?

I wish it were as easy as just reverting it. I'm focusing hard on these issues now, although i know little has been said by me about them, the buggy pets are a priority to get fixed as soon as possible. I understand this must be a frustrating wait.
