50,000 Diamond Wedding Bands (era accurate?)

I had my wedding on February 14, 2000, and my wedding band was labeled as a "50,000 Diamond Ring" or "50,000 Diamond Wedding Band" (forget the exact name on the ring). Does anyone know if this bug existed in this era? When you would target the gem while crafting the ring, however many gems there were in a stack, that's how many gems would get added to the label... but it would only consume one gem.

Aye, it's understood that it did work like this, by simply copying the name of the gem (pile) used to crete the ring, along with the quantity. RunUO is a bit more "optimized" but it's been planned to implement this.

Hehe, I remember my UO wedding back in 99. We were given personalized rings by the GMs with each others names on and had the wedding at the fire temple where a dragon spawned during the ceremony. Was quite entertaining.

I brought this up a loooooooooong time ago. And no one but me seemed to remember
. I always wanted one of them 50,000 diamond rings. I thought it consumed all the diamonds though, as I know not many people had these rings. I believe there were wedding bands too but gm's had to give them out when they did a wedding.

It still amazes me how much effort you put into this thing Derrick. I cant even imagine the massive headaches brought on by managing a project like this. if only the OSI GM's and Admins had half the passion for this that you do, maybe the game wouldnt have failed so miserably later on.
