What do these things usually yield?

At best, 250-400 gp, 6 gems, 30 reagents, 3-4 magic weapons/armor and 3-4 magic jewelry/clothing. There's about 10 chests ("level 4") that have that much in them.

Chests can be as low as about 150 gp, 2 gems, 10 reagents, and 3-4 magic items total.

Crates can be as low as maybe 75 gp, 10 crossbow bolts, 5 reagents, two magic items (typically a weapon and a jewelry) and one non-magic item.
