Question about Christmas tree

Just a simple question, will the Christmas tree disappear after Christmas? Thanks.

Nope, it will stay that way all year but if you take it down you can't put it back up until next December.

Actually when I dbl click on Christmas tree I get a message that says "You cannot remove this" How do I get rid of the tree?

thats an old tree and can only be removed by destroying it with an axe. its gone after that

Make sure the actual owner of the house is the one clicking on it before you go wailing on it with an axe.

Actually, the Christmas Trees have no binding to homeowners, that I am aware of. Unless this changed, the only way to remove the trees is to have the character who placed the tree double-click it, or page an Admin to remove it (if you own the home).

Yeah sorry I didn't mean to give bad advice. I guess I just meant to explore all 'clicking on it' options before destroying.
