Your favorite rare is...

I've always liked the way there are rare items in UO, although most (or all?) of them completely useless apart from decorative/show off purposes. Regardless of the actual rarity of the item, what is your favorite rare and why? Do you like something because it looks nice in your house or on your character? Does some specific item have some sentimental value because back in OSI you used to own it or what?

I've always been a bit of a Sims player and enjoyed decorating houses so I've never cared too much about sandals or anything. Before I donated my tower and other possessions, I worked hard towards my goal of obtaining a bear rug. I never got one, but always thought it'd be the thing in that living room with a fireplace. Not to mention how nice it'd be in a log cabin...

Other than that, I've always enjoyed small decorative items such as fruit baskets, tall candles and champagne glasses/bottles. They are not the most expensive to obtain, but simple items that can add some highlights to rooms filled with standard furniture.

My favourite was allways the Wyrm's heart, my friend puppie had it on Europa server, as well as loads of necro reagents and Vials, till Aos destroyed their rarity, allowing stonemasons and necromancers to use them. ^_^.

I could never compete with the big rares, my fav potted plant was the one with green sphere shape!.

Ooo i also won a house decorating competition on stratics lol, my log cabin in moonglow, although i cant find link , tried waybackmachine too, my charc name was machalite on europa, tried all kinds of search criteria, no luck =(

Favorite rare I own is probably one of my UoH Crafting Olympics trophies. I have a valorite hued set of silverware that I won in the chef competition and a verite colored saw from the carpentry competition and they are both tied for favorite in my heart.

Of the none unique custom rares I would have to say my Shadow Ingot Tinkered Lantern I got from Ireland's Finest patio decaying on Ice Island because it looks awesome when lit up and several rares collectors have offered gobs of money for it.

I like animated ones, hourglass or beakers/vials bubbling etc, crystal ball has a good animated shine

The pink bong bottle is awesome. Singing ball is up there but I think if I actually had one I wouldn't like it as much.

i got a named corpse container on my main john galt, from trick or treating one year. it was my favorite and was on the roof of my tower when it dropped. i miss you

Purple.
Pretty much anything purple that's hard to come by is a win in my book.

A big fan of the Halloween Costumes and Snow Piles as well. Functional rares (even semi-rares) are the best.
