Where is my house?!?!

So I played on this server quite a big about 2-3 years ago, I didnt PVP i only killed monsteres and crafted... blah blah blah other stuff...

So I was trying to place a house w/ my bard today. His name is Pork Chop. And it said I already owned a house!! Pork Chop is not co-owned on ANY other houses, that I know of. I used the in game help and Derrick told me that i DO in fact own a house on THAT char... The problem is I have no idea where it is. The tower I had on the Ice Island I let collapse when I stopped playing 2 years ago. Anyone have any tips for me to find my lost digs? The only thing I can think of is that I have friended someone, which is weird because I did not play with anyone else except my brother and dad... is there anyway I can fix this on my own? I tried to ask derrick, but he (understanably) told me taht they could not tell me where this mystery house is located.... Any ideas?

Have you been logging on periodically? If not, then I don't see how your house didn't go condemned and fall eventually, even if someone was friended to it.

If that is not the case, I'd change your password (just in case) and try to remember any place you might have had a house at. Did you have a vendor house? Anything?

def did not log in periodiclly, I had a tower on the ice isle and i said, to all my riches be damned. and just stopped playing because i got bored... well im ready to play again now...

Im worred that had a small house that i frended someone to and they have been updating it. but why wouldnt they at some point let it collapse and then place their own house there?? its been two years after all....

I am worried that there is something wrong and the game thinks that I have a house when in actuallity I do not.

Im 99% sure taht my account is not being used by anyone else, because when I logged in after 2 years all the stuff I had in my bank was still there, including a ton of gold... I gues i have to click on every house sign in the game to figure this one out.

It sounds like someone has been friended to one of your old houses and has been using that house. As far as I know, as long as they open the door before it falls, it gets refreshed. Maybe this mystery friend of this mystery house has been utilizing one of your old houses for storage or something...ZOINKS!!

The fact that you do not remember having any other houses, or friending anyone else to them is beyond me. But not remembering doesnt mean it didnt happen. Maybe check to see if your old tower actually fell or if someone has been refreshing it for 2 years. Wouldnt that be nice to come back after 2 years and still have all your shit and your tower? There are a couple guys that i grew up with that play this server. One of them is in the army and was deployed to Afghanistan. While hes been gone, the other guy has been refreshing his house for him. This could very possibly be whats going on.

If the house owning account doesn't log on for six months their houses become condemned. Whether friends were refreshing or not, the OP shouldn't have any house(s) standing after two years.

Ahh i did not know this. Thanks for the info. My buddy was using the other guys account do refresh his house so this is why his never fell...ya Id change passwords...but, your character should be in a different location when you log on and maybe get kicked off when someone else logs on. IDK strange...you would think that the gm's would give him a shove in the right direction tho. I mean i understand them thinking maybe he just placed a house, forgot where, and is telling a story as an excuse to get them to help him locate it. But they could at least look into it. Check to see when past log in times are and if his account was logged into before his return then ya hes had his account messed with. But if not, then something is very wrong and they should figure out what.

All I can say is, if you didn't log in for 2 years, any house must've gone condemned and fell.

Or how about they remove the tag that owning a house gives his character. Then he 1) doesnt own a house anymore (old one will then be condemned and ownerless) 2) can freely place another one, and 3) cant be manipulating the gm's into finding his existing house for him.
