Several towns have been invaded by orcs in the past here: Minoc, Cove, and Vesper. The humans gathered in force and pretty much wiped the Bloodrock Orcs out....

That was epic, and one of my most vivid memories of OSI.

I concur. Most fun I had in era. I basically didn't leave Trinsic the entire time.

The lich lord invasion was the day prior to the dropping of trammel (on pacific at least).

Trinsic invasion? We had that here before on some small scale, but somehow the banks were guarded still etc. On the Pacific shard they removed all the vendors and bankers, and filled the place with low level junk spawn for weeks. Nobody went there, ever. It was a ghost town for that timeframe, at least until there was some sort of seer guided quest thingy going on, which was like twice.

Was it different for you guys?

Trinsic invasion happened on Napa before UO:R for sure. I swapped to another shard a little while before UO:R so I have clear recollections of each shard.

I personally never bothered to go more than once. Low level spawn in town, bone magi at best, IIRC.

A lich lord spawn by Trinsic river remained for years afterward, I GMed resist during UO:R at trinsic river.

An invasion of Silver Steeds, Dark Steeds, Silver Wolves, and Dark Wolves would be awesome!
