Tactics or Anatomy

Post by Huscarl »

FOR ARCHERY

Which one, or both, matterÉ

I`m wondering, because when I attach a +bonus bow to my char, it adds to the Archery skill directly, unlike other weapons, which give Tactics... This would suggest that tactics don`t effect Bows?

Also... what the heck does Anatomy really do... makes a hit more probable to landÉ or what. I know it can add up to 10% damage, but that`s the same with Tactics, right´

Tactics help with all weapon skills, including archery. And anatomy adds damage on top of that. So definitely have both if you want to get the most out of your archery.

With archery my tactics went up faster than the actual archery skill, as opposed to swords skill bypassing tactics.

Rule of thumb, 100 Anatomy adds about 4 damage per hit for most weapons, but as much as 6 for something like a heavy xbow. Tactics probably adds more like 15-20 damage. Tactics is a necessity, Anatomy is a nice-to-have if you can fit it in.
