Alright Listen:
Requirements: A weapon of your choice. Shepherds crook. A town with a training dummy.
Guide:
Buy a shepherds crook from your local weapon smith.
Equip the shepherds crook and find yourself an animal thats trapped in a building.
Macro herding that animal. Double click shepherds crook, target animal, target ground where you want it to walk. Repeat every 1 second.
Macro herding until you have 90 herding. You should then have at least 70 STR and upwards of 90 STR if you started with more STR.
Go and bank your shepherds crook and get your weapon.
Head to the nearest training dummy located at Equitas (see above), various guard garrisons or warrior guildmaster buildings.
Macro double clicking the dummy. This will gain you 25 weapon skill and ZERO tactics.
Now go fight birds and rabbits in town until you have 25 Tactics and probably 30 or 40 weapon skill.
Go out and find sheep, cats, dogs, pigs, and goats. This will get you to 50 tactics 50 weapon skill with litte worry of deing. Especially if you have healing.
Move up to cows, llamas, mountain goats, boars, and other medium sized animals that yield hides. This should get you to 60 or 70 tactics and weapon skill.
Now you are ready for monsters! You can easily take out whole graveyards now with only 30 healing, 60-70 tactics, and 60-70 weaponskill. There are many graveyards around the world.
Tips:
Starting with atleast 12 INT is a good idea if you plan on recalling soon.
If this is your first character I would suggest 50 healing and 50 magery. Healing will save your ass constantly! 50 Magery is so key it's not even funny here. 50 Resist would be nice, but if this is your first guy on the server then you will use 50 healing WAY more than 50 resist. Your next avatar (prolly your mage you can start with 50 mage 50 resist)
While macroing Herding you might want to macro Snooping (to get 100 dex FAST) and Antatomy (bonus to healing and weapon damage) at the SAME TIME you are macroing Herding. 90+ STR and DEX is key to your dexxer.
If you choose mace fighting you will gain more STR on the dummy.
Might also want to do Wresteling on the training dummy before you leave. This will yield yet more STR if you didnt hit 100 yet.
Use Razor macros! Everytime 'macro' is used in this thread I'm refering to using Razor to make macros to do all of this stuff quickly and efficiently.
Thats all Rommel Out!
