Broker's Fees

Post by Budner »

I know some people are acting as brokers for free, but does anybody ever pay for a broker and, if so, ho much?

When I played on Pacific on the OSI servers 5K was the norm for tipping.

OK thanks. IMO 5k would be a big tip for a small house transaction (say, 60k or less) although not for anything larger.

Yeah when I feel like I've made a good sale (ie massive profit to me) I typically tip silver or a small deed. Tipping is encouraged for trusted brokers.

I've brokered many, many deals.

I've been tipped a few times, by Vega for example.

But I won't charge. I don't expect it, especially from newbs. This is for the benefit of the shard in general, I feel no need to profit.

brokering to me seems like holding the door for someone... if you get a thank you, then so be it, and if not, then you're still a gentleman/lady for being polite.
