MS Resist Sessions???

Hi -

I have been to one of Roadkills resist sessions and have to admit it is a pretty fantastic route for quick gains. The only down fall is the only time I got to go to one of his parties was due to me being sick and staying home from work. I live on the west coast and his parties are tues and thurs at about 1pm my time, ending at about 6pm my time, so as far as scheduling goes it does not work out too well.

I got to thinking that there has to be other people in similar situations, because of this I wanted to see exactly how many? I'd be willing to organize and work with Roadkill (I have previously spoken with him) about hosting a few MS sessions for the people that cant make the tues/thurs ones.

If your currently in this situation and want to participate send me a pm or contact me in irc (Kryptonical), I'll see what kind of responses I get over the next few days and see if it would be worthwhile to setup another time for the rest of us.

Resist sessions are where we get a bunch of people together. lots of mages casting meteor swarm onto a large group of people...with MS the damage is divided up between the amount of people so its very little damage (with larger groups) but because its a higher lvl spell your resist raises dramatically. You would need to be able to heal yourself, whether you bring another character to heal or heal yourself.

There's the "official thread" if you want to see gains people got. It's an easy way to get from 25 to 100 resist on your characters (great for getting your mage's resist done and you can start a dexer to get GM resist too, at the same cost as it would to just have 1 character there. You'll also end around 80-85 healing if you start from 50.

No, this would be a terrible idea as it would allow people to screw around and cause problems. That's good for solo resist gains though.

Each MS typically does 0-5 damage when you have enough people, we rarely have any problems/deaths. A character with 50 healing, 80 anatomy is generally plenty good to keep 2 characters alive. That is why everyone usually brings their own healer (I've also had days where my GM healer/anatomy guy has kept 7-8 people alive)

I have gotten a lot of response on this and so it looks like we should start setting one of these up. Any suggestions/ideas for timing? obviously I will do what works most convenient for myself since I will be organizing and what not but I'd be more than willing to try and work it around the most convenient times of everyone else.
