Are there spells that kill through walls? I had 3 chars in a house doing what they do behind locked doors and came back to find that 2 (that were near the front door) were dead with the opportunity to report a murder and 1 (far away from the door) that was alive and happy.

I can only assume it happened from the outside. If the killer had sneaked past my Detect Hidden every time I walk in the door, it would make sense that they whacked everyone.

If you're within 2 tiles of an external wall, people can meteor swarm or chain lighting you.

Another common tactic is, if you're macroing magery/sparring, they'll time an Earthquake to hit you and then you'll end up killing yourself
