Lumberjacking question

Does it matter which axe you use to lumberjack? Back in the day on OSI I was pretty sure it didn't (that may or may not be true, never actually checked) However, now it seems I'm failing more with a two handed axe as compared to a hatchet. Anything to that?

It should not make any difference at all. Even wear does not play into the amount or chance of a successful harvest.
