Hell Hounds taming requirement

I was reading up on the wiki page with regards to the animal taming skill, and saw that Hell Hounds were listed as 84.9 taming skill to have a chance at taming them.

I went into Fire Dungeon with a tamer whom just reached 84.9 displayed skill, and got the "You have no chance to tame this creature" message.

Is the wiki information incorrect, or the values on the server incorrect?

I have tried searching online, but all sites I have come across seem to have the 85.5 value being the current OSI requirement. However, judging from some adjustments made since T2A (such as drakes), I am unsure what value is supposed to be the era-correct one.

Would any knowledgable tamer tell me what was required during the T2A era?
