Also, Gork, if I ever log in here I promise I will fight ya! That was why I had Sexyfine in an incoginito state for so long. I hated killing someone on Menk and hearing the "OMFG WTF WE WERE FRIENDS I THOUGHT U WERE COOL UR NOT L33T NOW DUDE OMG I HATE JOO" Shit used to drive me crazy. Its like, hey we are cool and shit but were at war with each other so lets have fun, its a game!

Yeah it's really too bad... I had to go offline for a couple months because of moving, only to come back and server is basically toast...

I am all for the PvP mechanics here and the era-accurateness, which is amazing, but I think the stubbornness of Player only run events, and lack of money coming in on donations, means lack of advertising and marketing, which means less players which means death of server... It's really unappealing for new players to log on and see the same 15 guys running around the GY with all the money in the world dueling 1v1 (sure they earned it fair and square, but at what cost?)...

I logged into UO-Forever and the population is thriving, I feel like I am almost back on an old OSI server; however, it's at a cost of era-accurateness and customization... I think if there is any hope of this shard coming back to glory the leaders need to swallow their pride, ignore the people who are gonna whine anyways, and make it more enticing for new players, motivate donations, run player events, and market themselves better... I played CTF on UO-F and we have 40 unique players playing and it was amazing, so much fun!

Yes, it's at the cost of letting people ride around on ethy mounts, or have neon hair (which many of the old players already have even tho it's since been removed), or stupid things like that, but the PvP mechanics can remain the same! Because one thing UO-F PvP is based on another era, one which I like significantly less, and I know many feel the same, so there is a market!

There is still hope, I just hope that Derrick and crew wise up and do something before it's too late...

and now... all the haters can comment on my poor grammar and lack of knowledge of the game, but I do know one thing and that's how to run a business, and stock is plummeting for UOSA, and it sucks :(

Once i see some fresh faces, ill come back!

It's sad to say but this is completely what I agree with. Player events just don't compare to GM's events. Unfortunately the big money owners all want the game to not change, unless it's ruining their pvp time then they want it to change right away. I would love to see a GM event soon and hopefully one is being prepared, because if not I honestly don't see the server getting any higher, it may lower also, but only a bit. Looks like the collection here is all that want to be on here for now. Anyways still waiting on hater comments. However neon hair I don't mind, it's ethys that I have a problem with. There is one line that just shouldn't be crossed. Other than that keep it pretty era accurate and I approve

that's the whole point man, marketing... If it's there great, if no one knows about it, than it really isn't accomplishing much... the reason new people come to the server is for excitement, and what is going on here is just not exciting anymore, and really it's sort of lonely and depressing...

I want guild wars, group pvp, fun and exciting new things in an old familiar fashion and a game we all love... 300 players (which is really probably 100 players on 3 accounts) and most of which are either macroing, refreshing houses, or farming is not fun...

i would too, that's why I'd like to see better management of this server, i've dedicated serious time here and enjoy the foundation of it, but it will die if it continues this way... it's a serious deal, I won't start a new post because I know the powers that be see this, so I don't really need to, but c'mon guys what is the deal?!? Are you going to sit back and let all your hard work and time spent go to waste? All your accumulated time spent acquiring things and building chars and what not is going to be worth nadda zip zilch, very soon.

Just saying, change is upon us, the time is now, during the summer everyone said population will rise when winter comes because people will be indoors, it's now the winter and it has only further declined... and dramatically...
