I imagine a group of people would get dragged into an arena an the last one standing would be the survivor and winner of the event.

Survival is a new PvM events. Four people are teleported to four seperate cells at once. Monsters will start to spawn, getting progressively stronger. The last person of the 4 alive wins.

yes i know but anchient wyrm cannot be defeated lol, balron would be a more suitable monster to survive against

No one is meant to "win". It's whoever is left alive the longest. If there's a balron, more than one person could survive. How do we award a winner if two people are left alive after all the monsters are done spawning?

So if you don't kill the monsters you can keep your weaker one and heal, while the others try to survive by either doing what your doing(not killing them) or attacking the monsters and making it harder for them selves?

It's set on a timer. The monsters are going to spawn weather you've killed the one before it or not. So it's actually more of a race to kill them the fastest. Even at the lower levels, if you've got 3-5 monsters in there with you, you're in trouble.

The next monster in line spawns after the first player defeats that type. So yes, if you kill fast you can force mobs on your opponents.
