Question: Is unattended macroing to buy legal here?

In the server rules, it states that unattended macroing is not allowed for collecting resources. Does this include unattended macroing to purchase from vendors (I mean, that's like technically collecting resources, right?)?

The reason I ask is because there is someone clearly doing that on some of the reagent vendors.

Thanks, for the reply, Treysta. I should be good on reagents, but thanks for the offer. Competing against a vendor buy macro is only annoying when I need to purchase bulk for specific regs I plan to macro with for Magery. It's not really too much of a nuisance.

Yep its a dumb rule and quite contradictory to the "gathering resources" law. Its never made sense to me. But, if you spend an hour recalling to each Mage shop, you'll be able to stock up on regs.
So it isn't as bad as it looks.

Yeah, it's definitely annoying for new players. Once you get established and get more gold you'll actually be quite thankful for those who macro regs. Buying 60,000 of each type of reg from NPCs would take quite a while!

For new players who are making their first couple chars I offer regs to train magery at cost (3/4), so don't hesitate to hit me up if you change your mind.

Unattended resource gather-buying *should* be illegal, but it ain't.

They are profiting way more than unnattended fisherman, lumberjacks, etc ever could.
