I have tried "leland collect 5000" "leland give 5000" "leland gold 5000"
The batard is carrying 15k for me, but he won't share.
I can't collect gold from my player vendor.

I have tried several different times, several different ways, and he just looks at me like I am crazy.

Apparently I needed to drop the 5000 part. Just saying "leland collect" eventually worked. Sorry. Noob question. I am posting the answer here just in case another noob runs into the same problem.

Yep. Vendor Name Collect, then next statement prompts you to enter an amount up to 50,000 gold coins.
