Furniture dye tub not working?

My tub will dye most things.... but seemingly out of nowhere it will not dye the GF footstools and benches I just used for deco.

These benches and footstools are about 3 years old... maybe that's why?

Confirmed "wooden bench" will not dye possibly others.

add thrones and regular tables to this list, they will not dye either. I get a "this is not accessible" message. Yes I own the house, yes the item is locked down. Just stopped working it seems with one of these "ninja patches"
