Naming A Character
Can anyone explain why in a game full of players with offensive names of every sort - vulgar, racist, and plain moronic - when I try to make a character witth a name like Swedish Meatball, or in fact "Swedish" anything I get a response of "Unacceptable name"?

Lol.... I'm Croatian and Serbian, so I'm far more screwed up than most. Somewhat less of a target though.Safir wrote:Omigawd! Racists!

However, that is not an answer. Bad Swede.

Just be glad there aren't any other Croats on the boards, you wouldn't hear the end of it.EVeee wrote:Lol.... I'm Croatian and Serbian, so I'm far more screwed up than most. Somewhat less of a target though.Safir wrote:Omigawd! Racists!

The honerable guild FaceRape is offended by your vulger selection in character names.EVeee wrote:Can anyone explain why in a game full of players with offensive names of every sort - vulgar, racist, and plain moronic - when I try to make a character witth a name like Swedish Meatball, or in fact "Swedish" anything I get a response of "Unacceptable name"?

True indeed..... real-life case of sleeping with the enemy. But as a wiser man than me once said - "I yam what I yam". What can you do but roll with it?Soma wrote:Just be glad there aren't any other Croats on the boards, you wouldn't hear the end of it.

Thank you. A more perfect example of the incongruity here could not be conjured.

Re: Naming A Character
Perhaps it has something to do with your client version? Could be the client itself blocking the name.
Re: Naming A Character
Could be, maybe..... but at this point it's like trying to guess which way to go down a pitch-black alley. Someone here must know the answer to this. Admins? Please?Silverfoot wrote:Perhaps it has something to do with your client version? Could be the client itself blocking the name.
