Stacking poisoned food...

I came across a vetern one day (whom shall remain anonymous), and warned her that those hundreds of fishsteaks could be poisoned that she got laying on the ground. She informed me that no, you cannot stack poisoned food. So I tried it myself. Indeed the food will not stack if you poison it and leave it in your pack. But if you remove all the posioned food out of your pack and place them back in...they do indeed stack.
This taught me to experiment a little on my own even if you have it from a greater authority that something will or will not work.
